Default Cleaning a Gearbox.

I'm trying to do get my 220 box cleaned down before it goes back on.
Whats the best way to get all the Crud off of it. Used a tin of carb cleaner that worked a treat on a small area. But its a pretty large thing.

Try Gunk or Auto glym machine cleaner

brush on some bleach / toilet cleaner, leave on for 5 min and wash off. you will be shocked. i was !!!

bead blast the casing.. but make sure you cover any please where the breads could possibly get into the box itself

Worked a treat on my mates escos callipers
