Default your help required

Hello all,
im in the process of rebuilding my Engine and cleaning up the engine bay, some of my connectors for the engine sensors are a bit manky, and also the main ecu connector has a couple of loose pins which is not ideal.

doese anyone know where i can find the following items and how much they might be ?

A new ECU connector, new ecu connector pins, and new sensor connectors and pins for the connectors. i would rather replace than bye a second hand loom of which i dont know the condision of.

also where is a good place to get the machieen work done on the block head and crank sharft, names and number would help.

the last thing, is i have a L8 ecu, what is the function of a baby board ?
is this importante and what doese it do,

all info greatly recieved

thanks
Paul

vehicle wiring products they have pins and connectors and as for ecu multi plug get down the scappy and find a sierra with abs this has the same type of plug on it one by one swap the wires over(job done)

A babyboard is needed in a level 8 ecu std or pectel its something the do with extra functions and on a pectel its encrypition

if you have a std one keep it there usefull as the main tuners use them now for upgrades ie MSD and RPlabs

More importantly the wire of the loom also degrades with time and the constant heat cycles it sees under the bonnent, especially the 'shielded map sensor wire which can lead to intermitent problems. If you are keeping the car and plan to go big power( you're rebuilding the engine so why not ) then i would recommend a new engine loom to ensure the ecu gets reliable & correct signals
