Just tried the new gold member update link at the top of the page
and when it links to paypal its all in french.


HELP - I dont speak or read french

Need to see whats in the dummy room about me today

 

i wana join also, but dont want to use paypal as its not working, can i send a cheque?

I tried this today as well clicked australia first then found Uk

But paypal wont let me pay either says time limit out or something

 

mine came up in french,but its easy enough to work out which button to press,after i had 1 french page it went onto an english page and bobs your uncle

Chaps......

It`s hardly fooking rocket science........Even in French you can see it only has two sections..............Top shaded box is for a paypal member and bottom set of writing is for a non paypal member.....

For all of you getting the time out(think it`s a porting problem)go to the sticky at the top of GD about becoming a gold member and click on the symbol(visa/mastercard)half way down the page.....this one seems to work fine and is mostly in english....

Oh and don`t forget to put your username and what it`s for in the comments box.....

If you have the gold member priviledges back now,it`s gone through ok mate...

 

i couldn't get it to work whether signed in or using VISA details

it asked to enter the security code into the box,i copied it exactly and it still said i'd entered it incorrectly....ah well try another day

 

said the same thing to the mrs when she was struggling joining me up and got a clip round the ear

 

 

tried, get timed out error

I want to renew my membership.

The link takes you to a page that is cpmpleteley in FRENCH.

I do not understand French so will not risk making a mistake as I will
be using a credit card to pay.

ok, now : this is NOT a problem on our own but it is a Paypal problem that changed its way of working lately. There is a bug regarding the country where the account owner lives (paypal automatically considers everything should be the same language), and so they say they are currently working on this. Nothing i can do on my side, but it's not really hard to understand, you just need to enter the card details and click on "ok"...

I really do appreciate what you are saying but it doesnt help me.

There are many fields of information required not just the credit card
details and foreign languages really confuse me.

I guess I will just have to wait for Paypal to pull there finger out and sort it.

Doesnt feel the same not being a gold member......
