i have got a standard but smokey 1600 cvh i want to re-build to replace my zvh, what sort of price should i pay to get the block/head crack and pressure tested and the crank re-ground and the rods tested???

Price will vary between machine shops.

30 or 40 for a head pressure test. 50 ish for a crank regrind.

 

my local charges Ł25 skim Ł25 pressure test and Ł60 regrind if it needs it of course

 

now chris has gone overseas, are you up around this area much? i can get it done cheap as a PJ!
