Default FAO Porkie etc

...just read that my E55 has the grip of an insurance salesman ....and the car dont begin to slide (on stock tyres) until you get to 0.90g How good is that and how does it compare to say a Skyline of other trick cars?

A PUG 205 on road tyres with a set of front springs and strut braces can pull 1.1g
It was in a tuning mag a couple of years ago.

certainly does Stu

Im still in awe about how the thing gets to 170.

it just gets there... no dramas. No hassles. Ok a 400bhp yb will get there quicker* but for a 'paltry' 340 bhp

it just gets on with the job!

E46 M3 according to evo magazine is I think meant to be 0-60 5.1, 0-100 12 ish, and dont know top speed

My E39 with its 400bhp will do (according to EVO test) 0-60 4.9, 0-100 11.5.

Mate of mine has an M3 and there aint a lot in it to be honest!
