Default Brake upgrade for xr3i

Hello there every one ive been offered a full set of calipers by a friend off a cavalier gsi the fronts are 256mm disks but im unsure of the rears at the minute, what i want to know is if there is any one out there that has done this type of conversion on a similer car and if not if there is a chance i could use these on my mk4 escort xr3i with out costing a fortune in custom bits that i would need to have manufactured from scratch ? thanks to you all in advance.

Just get the brakes from an XR4i or S2RST and some new discs from Rally Design. Keep it simple!!

Using calipers from another make of car is always going to be more hassle, as said keep it simple, a lot of other ford calipers will bolt straight on!
