Default Bit of a tidy up on XR2i 16v

Hey All

Just thought I would show you all what i have been up to today with my old Fiesta.

i've had the car a few years and it was used as a daily runner untill i got a company car then the Wife started useing it. The car got broken into about a year ago and both door locks and boot lock were punched out with a screw driver I did a quick repair and for a while I lost interest in it
because of a series 2 resto (still on going)

Until today!

first the pics of the car as i was!

with my brother's xr

Now with the damage and some RUST

So got a new tail gate and de-locked it

And started on the other bit's

De-locked

And found the usual around the fuel cap

That's about it for now. I will post more when I get round to it.

Please feel free to comment

i would advise to do the whole back part of the panel, the rust may not be showing but it will be by and even over the top of the filler hole on the inside.

up to you though but i would do it that way, dont wanna do all that work for rot to come back through in 6-12 months

this is what i put on my car

£5 from scrapy, and 100% rust free, well a little surface on a tiny dent on the edge (since be knocked out and ground up)
