I went to the docs last week Thurs to be exact, as been having bad headaches and dizziness (no comments please ) and feeling very sick for a while now, and they have diagnosed me with labyrinthitis vertigo....

Now they gave me some pills, which make me feel REALLY sleepy when i take them, on Sat i woke up with ulcers all inside my mouth, so thinking it could be a reaction to the pills I did a bit of re-search on the internet it turns out the pills im on are tranquilisers pmsl hence the sleepy feeling!!!

Now im on the BPool pissup on Sat, but have been warned by docs and on the net to steer cleer of alcohol while on these pills, now i could stop taking them and try and put up with feeling rough for one weekend lol But im worried that if i dont do the full course of pills in one they basically wont work and i can't cope with this for much longer...

So what i really want to know is has anyone else had vertigo and were you treated for it, if not how long was it before you felt better??

I get vertigo real bad at times.

I can even be watching tv and get it when watching certain things.

Buildings with high ceilings gets me

never been to a doctor about it though

 

I didnt know what it was always suffered with feeling sick, but never anything else then i got this headache and started having probs with my vision so thought it best to go docs....does it not do your fookin head in?!?!?!

 

Yeh it does but I try to avoid poutting myself in situations where it affects me

I remember a few years ago I walked into the local shopping centre on the 4th floor, I looked up at the glass roof and next thing I knew I was on my hands and knees.

Made my mates laugh but actually scared the crap out of me

Mine seems to be in cars, in shopping centres and small rooms well anywhere busy really, and atm anytime i move my head pmsl

 

Ive had it once or twice but necer been the quacks about it. I normally spend 2/3 days in bed and it goes. Last time i had it i was 19 and im 24 now so im hoping its gone*

I had it over 2 weeks now, it could actually explain a lot of things over the past 12 months if ive had it that long!!!

yep i had it proper fely like i woz well piss could,nt even stand up,had bed spins, sickness not good

about ten days but even when i whent back 2 work still felt funny 4 few weeks i cuold,nt even stand up 4 three days
