I'm not willing to strip it though....only sell on as a lump either private or to a salvage company. Still think I can make money?

Yes mate, advertise it privately and it will piss out the door mate....

I think it will make at least a grand and at that price someone is getting a cheap bike for a little bit of effort tidying it up...

I`ve not long sold an R6 with similar damage for £1200.....

I got my 94 cbr6 back when it was written off. It was all fairing damage on LHS and suspect out of line forks. Local breakers gave me £700 for it

Someone will buy it for a track bike if it can't go back on the road.

Have you still got the V5 or has it been written off ? I guess the later..

Deffo some money in though even if it can't go back on the road.

I do still have the V5.....it is deemed beyond economical repair so I would imagine it'll be going on a Cat D so it can be repaired and go back on the road.

Anyway....my question has been answered......but it back and stick the engine in a go-kart
