Ok has anyone got pics of a L8 ecu Standard aswell as a chipped one

I smell a rat with a L8 ecu a mate of mine has brought

I will put up pics asap of whot my mate has given me to look over looked @ it the other day very quickly and did'nt notice untill just now that its MADE by SIEMENS In France This does'nt seem to be a L8 ecu for a cossie

Also can someone comfirm is this a Rst fuel ecu ??? My mate was told it was the fuel ecu for the cossie BUT they dont run one or they dont on my L6

 

I would say the citroen (spelling) symbol on the top one is a give away its not for a cossie

Sure the cossie ones are webber marrelli

 

Gav thats whot i just spotted when i got it out of its Plastic sleeve to have a proper look @ it I think someones in for a f&*king good kicking

 

As for the other one mate, it does look like a rsturbo one but i don't remember mine having the jetronic bit at the bottom but i may be wrong

 

Gav i have 2 in the shed but with no lights i can see them im sure mine are made by Bosh (sp) and im sure they also dont have jetronic on the bottom but mine are out of S1 Could it be off a EFI FRST or do they like the cossie run all of the main ecu

Also it says its made in Germany

 

Not sure on the fiesta's mate as i have never owned or worked on one

It's a renault ecu, look at the first picture, you can see the renault diamond shape

where did he buy it?

Well JAMES has offered to repay Dan as he's still claiming they came from TOMMY @ FEILD MOTORSPORT IN SOUTH WOODHAM FERRIES Even tho dan has called him and Tommy said he knows JAMES and all he has ever sold JAMES was a set of rst pistons and build him a engine for a grass track car = STRANGE AS JAMES SAID HE BUILT HIS 2.2 ZVH S2 TURBO ENGINE And JAMES had told use his m8 was breaking a 4x4 cossie and the parts was from his car AND I CAN COMFIRM THAT JAMES TOLD ME ON THE PHONE SUNDAY NIGHT WHEN I WAS DOWN @ DANS IN ESSEX THE INJECTOR WAS FROM A M8 OF HIS (SO JAMES WHEN YOU READ THIS IT WAS ME YOU SPOKE TO ON DANS PHONE ABOUT THE INJ/AND THAT INTERCOOLER THATS NO WAY BETTER THEN A RS500 STYLE ONE DUE TO IT BEING HALF THE FU8KING SIZE YOU CU8T Dan did'nt want me telling you who i was at the time CANT WAIT TO MEET FOR A CHAT HOPEFULLY WITH DANS CASH )

He targets people to rip off he will sell some thing he does'nt have or has sold it 4 times over ect , He sold this ECU to my m8 who did'nt know any thing about cossies ect but know JAMES had friend if you could call them that with cossies and other performce cars So toke his word for the item

He gave me the ecu to check that it was chipped but i found that it was'nt a L8 let aloan chipped I dont claim to know loads about cossies only the problems i have had in the passed with mine ect

I'm amazed no ones actually knocked his door and stretched his neck seen as though hes ripped a fair few people off and tried swerving the blame with the "someones hacked my account on LOTS of different BB's and it's not me honest load of bollocks. The last I read on that other thread before it went off in all sorts of directions was that he came out with an excuse (as above) and was in contact with the law over it.

Not sure what the outcome is on the other one but have you been round there yet or has your mate? .... to get the money back?

 

hi peps, they are my ecu s that james got for me, ther was about Ł400 worth of parts i had off him and i think u all get the hint they were all wrong parts i have only had the car this year and got loads to learn, james was helping me along the way but went wrong, he is saying that i will have my money back by friday if u can belive it..... i hope this is the end of all this and every one lerns about him....
i would like to get the cossie up to bout 350 bhp so any usefull tips would be very helpfull ie not a rst fuel ecu

Theres too much of this sort of thing going on but I guess where communication via internet, etc, etc gets easier then so does the scams.
