To get some of the components off the wings the arch liner needed to come out and it was a very happy sight behind there going to paint it body colour and the same for all the other archs.

had the back box off and cleaned it in a bench vice

Happy with it for now but i need a new one as its not been looked after in the past and theres lots of dints in the back can.

And yes your sorta right dude it has two D40s one on the front drivers and the spare.
Spare is no good but drivers is ok and with good treed will be taking it off when i get me new wheels and have been told people will buy good D40 for concours??? anyone know what the going price is???
Wire brushed me hubs down and left them like that for now as after national day all the suppension coming off for powder coating so no point in painting them up.

The front disks where replaced when i brough the car so wire brushed them and painted them to stop the rush and make them look a bit better/cleaner.

masked off then cut round with a stanley blade

Same on the back side

Lick of paint

By this point i had also cleaned my front wheels inside and out and found a leak in the drivers side front brake pipe so phone my mate and hes said "bring me the brake pipes and il make you some new ones" so why i was at it i took him both pipes as theres no point doing one.
fully wire brushed me calipers and copper greesed the sliding edges back of pad and put back together readfor me new pipes and disks to dry.

i reasembled the front brakes bleed them up, no leaks which was good and went out to test them all ok and better than ever now braking is twice as good for a good service and cleanup.

No mate car is kept inside with a cover its in a big barn with lots of other RS's
Lovely car m8
How clean is it behind the front arch liners!
Makes it an easy job to paint up
Did my front and rear suspension last winter, well chuffed with the way it turned out
Same as your planning, all powder coated with new nuts/bolts etc
