awright Iv finnaly cought the ford fever again and decided to buy a mk 2 escort after finding the 2 door shell and paying little under 1000 pounds for it i became a little disapointed with the amount of welding to be done as always with the older shells my idea is to weld it up to group four rally spec with a 2.2 twincam lotus engine same as what was in the talbot sunbeams so ill keep yous all up to date with the build and stresses that go with it ps anyone with an exhaust manifold for a talbot sunbeam lotus get in touch cheers

yep defo money is a big thing in doing them up im and apprentice for landrover and trust me they dont pay well enough to be doing up a mk2 escort but hey just got a 3 liter capri atlas axle for it for nothing so another part ticked off need the lsd for it now




well its gettin there slowly pics showing the pasengers foot well and a piller made a nice strengthining plate and a welded it in which ties the a piller 2 the floor in a more solid fashoin got the templates if anyone wants em post sum pics of your projects pls i need ideas haha hope u like the pics ps welding not complete in pics ill keep pics up ti date as i do it
