hi all
i found a xr3i in new zealand for
$500 had been sitting in a garage
for 6 years these are hard to get in nz

this is it when i got it





to weeks later and a few parts i had around of a
mazda i was building and i got it mot/taxed
and i few things of ebay in the uk



im going to turbo it going down the carb rute like the turbo technics one
i managed to get a carb with machnical secondries and manifold shiped to nz from germany landed in nz for $180
going to make the turbo manifold myself and use a subaru wrx turbo
front mount intercooler for now untill i can find some one that has wrote of
a 2.o zetec modeo also very hard to find over here if i can get my hands on one then down the raod a bit ill build a sweet turbo set up for it.
so if any one has pics of there turboed carb set up post them so i can pick
your brains.

What make are the wheels

 

they are called DTM gt99

they are a light weight race wheel
i had sitting around for my mazda so i had them
re-drilled to fit the stud patter on the escort

 

I like them ,suit the car

this was an import
was inported the same year it was built
these are very rear over here.
