Well after 18 hours of being without a car I phoned up
Jamesy got the 3 door and went car hunting!!
After selling the Xr3i 130 for a very sweet price
and decent profit I was gutted about
loosing such a low mileage car and set about gettting
meself another Escy.

Was looking for anything not particulary quick or sporty
just something to play with.

I found this little bugger with no mot and tax until next May.
Paid next to nothing for it so was chuffed!!!
(What is it with me an XR's Grant?)

Anyway gave her a good run down the road home when I bought her, along with the 3 door we had a right good run down the road testing the 3i lol. Some people got a fright as the 3 door spat flames at them when it past PMSL

Anyway, mk 5 Xr3i Dimaond White (my fav colour), 85k on the clock, lowered 40 mm, TSW Alloys, S/S back box ( was told it was a system in advert lol)
FSH, All MOTS Tax Disc's and receipts. Front laguna splitter

Was looking a bit boy racerish but it will do for now to play with. Has a bit of a miss when reving hard but once past 2 1/2 it revs alot more freely than 130 did. Not as quick top end tho as its a pishy 105

Plans are:

1) weld up a couple of holes in sills, two new sills for peace
of mind other than that she is mint underneath.

2)Konis all round on there way this week!

3)New discs and Pads, shoes on the back Green Stuff Pads, drilled and grooved front discs ready to go!!!

4)Maybe a full S/S

Then slap her in for an MOT and fingers crossed!!!

Not in a hurry to get her tested as have other car the now.

But thought Id slap something up in here anyway.

Next on the shopping list is a pair of morrettes and maybe an rs2k bonnet??

But I reckon the black one is better although im not a big fan.

I hate the bitch I spoke to when ordering my Koni's Sent the wrong ones!!
There I was all set to go and then I notice three fucking things that made it go horribly fooking wrong/ M K AND 6!!! Arghh!!!

The dosey cow sent me Mk 6 koni setup ( full setup btw Grant) Fooking gutted!! so have to send back and wait again

I made sure she understood I said MARK 5!!! And then again
At the end of the order I said " double chek thats a mark 5!!!!!!!

Ive had a very interesting turn of events and may well be picking up two RS's 2moro (Sunday) And If I do you will be the first to know!!!

Grant you know what Im talking about matey!!!

So if it goes ahead the Xr will get tested and shifted for space and I will have a new thread teehee!!!

I know it may seem far away but ours will be worth the same as the older xr's in a few years time mate,

Nah its cool matey, Im keeping the XR just now and might put her back to standard form. My old one woulda been worth dry storing but not this on
