My brother has just bought a Catergory B fiesta turbo which is a runner, So i was think ing while mine is sat next to it with a knackered engine..... Why not put 2 and 2 together! Any way, the only thing im not sure about is the engine loom. I.e what to to with exchanging the two? Do i simply unplug the loom off the FRST and unplug the SI loom and swap them??? I have only ever done a like for like swap with the same loom so i'm not to clued up on the loom part of the enigne Also is the engine loom any way spliced into the interior loom? if so would the FRST engine loom interchange with the SI interior loom? ANY help at all would be very very grateful!!!!!!!!!! cheers P.s Any tips on taking it out and putting it in??? cheers james!

 

If you got both cars, i say just take the whole car loom out the rs and put it in the si? thats wot i wud do anyway!

 

Yeah i wud but can't b arsed talkin the dash out and putting leccy windows in and c/l etc.....
