Default Would this cause any running problems?

on my cossie i have the standard cossie 4x4 dump vavle, its all connected up ok, except for the small pipe right in the middle of the centre of the D/V, it isnt plumbed in at all, i have found a pic of a saph on autotrader and highlighted the bit i mean, is it ok to leave it as it is or should it be plumbed in, and lastly what problems would this cause if tis not plumbed in? its been like that since i bought the car lol

Providing you block off the vac hose, and block off the hose too you'll be fine

And you'll get chatter

I'm confused - if they're blocked off and the dump valve IS off the car, then it couldn't cause running problems!

Just take it out completely (the dv) and block off everything that goes to it

If its not plumbed in(nor getting a boost feed) then surly it'll leak air under boost. iirc the bosch plastic dv's dont like anything over 12-13psi anyway so even plumbed in correctly may sligh leak a touch.
Persoanlly i'd remove it and bung the takeoff's including the vac/boost line.
