as i bought her back in october 2005 for £100, earnt itself allrready in spare parts for the road car









as she stands now, im slowly removing the engine its my first broject first time doing most work so getting the engine out is long and time consuming that usually ends up with me throwing tools around and kicking the doors aka. stress panels



its a pretty solid 1979 1.1L






ideal finished product will be a fast drag car RWD with a non ford turbocharged power plant

not touched it for a week but browsing through the projects section has motivated me a bit more

 

come on sam get motivated a bit more i want to see this project really take off with the vlovo engine

 

shhhhhhhhh need a donor engine first

oooh just noticed your from kiddeminster a mate round there is currently building a mental volvo turbo lump utilising a Garret GT-42 and hoping to use in excess of 30psi for 500+ bhp im hoping todo something along the same lines but with a little less power and run it through a mk1 fiesta

its a long shot and will take a long time as im skint

 

so whos that then or what part of kiddy they from

 

nice touch mate, you wait till you drop that nut you need into the grass beloew, your see what stress really is then, more so when you hunt for 10 mins and cant find it

 

lives up kinver edge, be aware theres a large volvo meet there about the 20th, and theres allways a little outing to local rounderbouts and the like unfortunatly i cant make it this year


a little snippet from last years meet the 960 got extremly sideways as did the 940 wagon to the left of it, just out of shot isd a silver 740 turbo and theres a small group of us to the right of the fiesta crowded round a very noisey twin carb'd 360
