Rocker Cover Gasket Fitment?
Just about to fit a new rocker cover gasket to my 1.1HCS - anything specail i need to remember to do or is it a simple replacement job? I assume no sealant is required?
Cheers
Cheers
Makesure both surfaces are clean/smooth, no deposits.
place the gasket on, either rocker cover or head, whichever has a groove
makesure it's still in place all the way round once everything is in place
tighten bolts working your way from middle to outer edges
check for leaks
forget about it for another few years
