mine was running 20psi, with strapped I.C, and a few little bits. Was VERY quick toabout 70-80, then it just died.

 

had 3 of them

NONE of them ever really had any problems, i put a stage 3 head and nice turbo on the last one and rund 25psi up santa pod,

wheel spin city

but sooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun, and i will be soooooo jealous when i see it

i sold mine to get my RS,they are wicked fun!i was 18 runnin round in my 5,i was king!

I never had any probs with mine,had it for bout 8 months and never a problem! Ive thought about gettin one for a project...better finish the RS first though!

I love em, last one was 167@WHEELS at 23psi, 6750rpm peak power, proper lil revver that fucker was, specced well, none of this "they dont acclerate after 80" crap you hear

Id love another, know em like the back of my hand, and they strong as fuck if the person knows how to deal with em

2 of mine had a little clutch slip, but the 3rd was fine

and i always heard stories of gearbox's i never had an issue with these

make sure the perf fan works, else you have a bitch starting and puff's of black smoke starting

new fans only about 40quid, and you can get them from RTOC

 

well its cossie reliabilty but afraction of the cost to fix mate!!!

I think i was one of the first people that started using cosworth intercoolers as a front mount on them, i used to run 2 intercoolers on mine

awsome little cars , can make them go very very quickly for a sensbile outlay Same as cossies really, people give them a bad rep for reliability after they have fucked about and bodged them , do them properly and look after them and they are good as gold.

Closest I ever got to owning one was when I found a bargin in the local free ads in swindon, went round to the guys house, test drove it (it flew!!) , and said I will be back on friday with the rest of the cash to collect it. Friday comes, mates driven all the way down from brum to drive my other car back for me, so I ring the guy to tell him i'm on the way, only to be told he had stacked it that morning under a truck on his last blast before he sold it

He was a lucky lucky fucker, the HGV bumper had missed his head by millimetres, car was a right mess, and the poor fucker had to give me my Ł100 deposit back as well not sure who was more pissed off, him, me or my mate who had wasted his day off

 

Really like that so fuck it im buying one wanted a little runner anyway

Mate had one, and my 1st GTT had a Raider interior in it for some reason (ie black carpets rather than red, and blue flecks on the seats rather than red).
Old guy near me still has one, must be in his 70s, pimps around with his OAP bitches in the car.

The Twin Dump Valves sounded wicked!

He still has 8 Standard wheels in good condition if anyone wants them. I think there are some other little bits around too, could have a look.
