Default working with carbon fibre

how easy is it to drill a hole in a sheet of carbon fibre say 52mm with a hole cutter on a drill ?

would it leave a neat hole of frayed ends all over the place ?

easy enough if you mask the hole right up and go slowly.

as said easy with a hole cutter, do it outside well ventilated and where a mask, gloves and cover your arms, if its proper carbon, not the mickey mouse stuff.

If its proper stuff then the resin would have worked itself well into the fibres so nothing should fray.
