is there any difference between a zetec with the starter on the front and one on the rear i.e can i fit a 2.0 with the starter at the rear to a mk4 gear box and mount the starter at the front

cheers does it fit straight up,i know i need a 1.8 sump/oil pick up but is there anything else i need to do?

you will need an escort water pump, escort flywheel and clutch (not xr3i 130 as they are 240mm, you need 220mm)

you might have to use the escort altinator bracket and put in on the front of the block too

and then the wiring and management to run it

wouldn't the bigger clutch be better?

or will it not fit into the hole inthe gearbox bellhousing?

the flywheel is too big to fit in the ib5 gearbox.

but if you got an MTX box then use the bigger fly/clutch
