Tax is about 22-23% I think ?

Then missus/baby is 68% & car is 9% so you get 0%

All cool !

under around Ł36,000 a year tax is around 22%, then National Insurance is around 3%, so divide the final salary by 100 then times it by 75 (100 - 25) to get your actual salary.

You can then divide this number by 12 for per month, 52 for per week, 365 for per day etc

Hope that helps

or you could just times you salary by 0.75 to get the figure lol

eg 10,000 x 0.75 = 7500

Depends on what Tax band your in, normal tax for most people I think is 22% of the Gross Paid wage.

Then you've got to take of N.I (National Insurance) which is a further 10%, I usually deduct 32% from my Gross wage which near enough to the penny gives me my 'Take Home' wage HTH

it is definately 22% tax upto Ł33,300 and 40% above Ł33,300. National Insurance is 11% if you earn more than Ł97 a week and less than Ł645. You pay less if your employer pays a pension scheme for you, and it is different if you are self employed.

All this is taken off government websites.

0% up to Ł5,035.

10% for the next Ł2,150.

22% for the next Ł31,150.

40% thereafter.

NI is 11% on income above Ł5.035.

1% thereafter.

So work out total deductions then divide by 52 or 12, depending on how often you're paid

Ralph.

What about your tax code, the amount of money you dont pay tax on each year, surely some of that ammount can be sorta added to your weeks gross salary, as you shouldnt be being taxed on that bit of your earnings.

Know my tax code just changed a bit and altered my monthly net figure by a bit.

Have personaly always just deducted a third from gross earnings to get the net, never normally to the penny lol, but gives a good idea of what to expect, and if the wages dept have made a big fook up
