Default painting black bits on a car

Ok chaps, what primer and paint do you use when painting things like engine mount brackets/crossmembers or any bracket under the bonnet, i am goingto use the FROST underbonnet black paint, but im not sure whats the best primer for the job!! what do you guys use!!

Far easier to take them to your local powder coaters

thats what i planned but thought id have a go myself. but obviousley POWDER COATING is a much more durable surface.
