Ive seen a guy with an st200 that has a st220 3l engine in. Just wondered if anyone had any idea of the work that this would involve (straight foward or difficult) and anyone who may do or has this conversion

that would be me
the guy who did it was username: buey2 on www.stownersclub.com
from what I gather, its an ST220 engine from a scrapped car, which cost about £800
its mated to his ST200 gearbox.
went straight in, with about 2 wires on the loom needing changing
thats all I know, he did have it up for sale, but Im not sure if he has sold it or decided not to as he hasnt posted in a while.
it will be in FF/PF mag soon as well
currently putting out about 245 bhp

mating the ST220 engine loom to the ST200 main loom required 2-3 wire changes to match the pinouts between connectors, but, please, dont quote me on that.
The modified car I believe has now been sold via ebay
