Default Cosworth Engine Rebuilding....Now Fitted Stand alone ECU

I just want to show some photographs of my engine rebuilding.

Mine engine is using a lot of oil, and had almost done 200.000 KM.
First i thought it would be the Turbo or the valve stem seals that causes the oil use ( 1 litre at about 300 km), but it was not

This is mine 2wd Sapphie:

So time for a rebuild.
I bought a very good second hand 200 short block with 60.000 KM, which i'm rebuilding with new bearings and piston rings etc.

Best Regards,

Bas

Yup, that's a turbo oil return hose.
I bought all the items from Darren Dare (Grahamgoodracing). Perfect service and delivery
So i didn't get it from the local ford dealer

looking good bas
looks a bit familiar, all the work you're doing

Thank you all mates
I'm satisfied about the looks also

@ Cozzie4d

Bas

Today i started with the engine, that's still in the car.

And as almost each mother does, she came to tell me how i should do it

Steel MLS cometic headgasket (1.4 mm) have already been ordered and is on his way.
6 Paddle clutch are also already within, which i will use with a Sachs Heavy Duty pressure plate.

Best regards,

Bas

I made my first ride

I also mounted a Group A rally exhaust.....it is very noisy

I'm very very happy with the result. For now i'm driving with greens, but i'm going for greys very soon.

Best regards,

Bas

Thank you all !!

It did drive it in already.....i can't get out off mine Cossie anymore

And it isn't using oil at all

I did make a short movie from 100-200 KM/H. (taking at about 9 sec)
I did calibrate mine gauge with GPS. 160 km/h at the gauge are 163 REAL km/h.

It does run very well. The run in the movie is at 1,3-1,4 bar.
Take a look
