Annoying Clifford
My Clifford (concept 300) beeps four times 10secs after arming within the 30sec interior light delay. If I leave it 30secs/wait for the interior light to go out before arming it won't.
How can this be sorted as its well annoying

The brain needs adjusting to let it know you have interior light delay, what is happening is the alarm thinks (because the light is on) the door is still open..
try it with the light switched to off completely, it may still do it as the relay will prob still latch over...
You will need to know your valet code ideally and good installers can change this setting via the valet switch, though its easier on a laptop using cliffnet..

AFAIK turbo timer can be done just by adding a timed relay too!!
(Unless you going for full on intellistart)
Bear in mind you will need your Vecta/Wipac taking out probably ... Unless its already gone...

I have just had a clifford fitted with intelliastart.
1. I have my Interior LIght on 20sec delay and its fine.... DOnt think the engineer set it up to regonise the light though, he never said anything.
2. Intelliastart doenst work on a timer, its ok when you start it up, it stays locked....
But when you want to arm it to turn off, it wont turn off untill you lock and set the alarm, so you still have to ideally stay with the vehicle. (even though any theif wouldnt be able to nick it because as soon as the break is depressed the car cuts out and the keys arnt in the ignition.
But if your happy to stay with your car for a few minutes after pulling up, then thouroughly reccomend intelliasart and for Ł150ish extra, it aint all bad.
"oh and yes i had to have the vecta completely disabled"
