to keep it breif i bought a car 2 years ago from a mayjor companey told they h p i all their cars and they are all clear. Know i stll paying for it and went to trade it in at weekend and they told me it is an import and h p i shows a warning from dvla which turns out the car was first registered abroad so were do i stand with this should they have told me this when i first bought it cos i really want out of the car as it is like a bottomless money pit any advice greatly welcome

 

Unless its in writing its a UK car, i'd say its your word against there's- and that you havnt got a leg to stand on
