Has anyone got a lucus cav type pump exploded diagram or know where i might find one, ideally a step by step guide to rebuilding the fecker!

Doubt you will get one of here mate. Diesel mechanics will never ever strip one down. You need to speak to an injector pump remanufacturer...

Yeah thought as much but twas worth a go.. What it is is i have a escort diesel at work with a leaking pump, i've identified what is leaking [the drive shaft body-main case O ring] but just wondered if anyone knew where i could find out which bits goes where.

Although i will add the pump i have dismantled is a old one not required but now i know how it comes apart the plan is to dismantle the pump on the escort & replace the seal, just a tad more carfully than before
