Im guessing there are no suppliers of the original ones anymore and that carbon or fibreglass copies are all thats out there readily available?

No good for me, im too clumsy, would tap it on a curb and break it, but the original ones can handle a bit of that.

Chip - the originals one can handle a lot of abuse - trust me i should know

 

An original brand new one recently fetched £1000 on ebay .

 

That would work out FAR cheaper for me than yours at 250 quid per time i wreck them
