Pitbulls..... (Very sad)
Trending Topics
Yea, My dog which is'nt a pitbull got all excited in the street and jumped up and bit the girl in the cheek next door (He's always on the lead but someone left the front door open), He's sooooo friendly aswel yet when i walk him people in the street cross over and stand on the wall etc..
The worst part is he's only a shih tzu
Yeah you'd love my dogs big but soppy as anything (benni all it takes is something like that and people get scared for life mate, i got bit by a german sheperd was hanging off my leg lol i still walk up to strange dogs and pet them).
Even some guard dogs walk up show no fear they dont think pet them on the head walk of.

Dogs can be better company than humans sometimes...
I know when i'm wound up or in a bad mood he will come into my room with his squeeky bone and look at me as if to say "You wanna play or not"
No is never an option.
That is a very touching video.
I know that my opinions might stir a few negative responses, but I have to say that while I support the fact that the owners are most probably to blame, it's the dogs that attack and how can you ever police the idea of these dog's only going to sensible owners. They are a fighting dog and one that no man could restrain if it decides that it wants to attack. I know it's a far bigger picture and there is alot more to it than that.
Imagine if I wanted to keep a Crocodile as a pet and walk it down the street. There is no way that would be accepted, but it is still a living animal that has as much right to live as any other animal, but it is a killing machine that knows no limits to what it kills.
Don't get me wrong, the last thing I would like to see is these dogs killed, but a way to slow down the breeding of them would be welcome in my opinion. Of course some kind of strict license would be an idea, but people always have ways around it and it only takes one of these dogs in the wrong hands and you could have an infant casualty.

This chap was beaten up by humans.
So maybe we should ban you all from having kids?
The only people who stand up for these types of dogs are the owners of them. After watching that poor cat get killed by these pitbull dogs and the power of them attacking I would advise anyone who wishes to own one get yourselves onto a proper training course as these dogs looked as cute and cuddly as un the picture above.
If I remember correctly the Golden Retriever was number one in the list of number of dogbites each year overhere in Belgium...
But of course people only read what they want to read and that is the "spectacular" article about the pitbull or am staf...
Surely that cute little Goldie wouldn't do a thing like that
Blame the owners, not the dogs!

They didn't get that reputation from playing with fluffy toys and mothering groups of baby ducks, did they?
You think any of the bull terrier breeds are bad? Take a look at the next 6 inch high jack russell next time you see one then try put your hand down near them and they'll try to bite the shite out of it. Those little bastards think they are invincible. Pit bulls and staffs are a lot more tollerant than
any of those little fur ball shits.
My mates Mum has a jack russell that trys to attack every one it see's,
they think its cute! " Ah dont mind him he's Tiny" If my Staff acted like that there would be uproar and everyone would want it put down.
Now rant over

Did you know that Staff Bull terriers are known among staffie circles as the 'Nanny dog'? due to there good temperament and how they will look after and protect children as if they were there own?
They can be one of the most enjoyable breeds of dog to own if you buy one for the right reasons .

It's seem co-incidental that almost every case of mauling that you hear about these days involves a bull-terrier. OK, not all cases, but most.
Even if it is down to the irresponsible owners, how can you ever control it? It's a bit like gun's, they don't kill, it's the Gun owners that use them to kill. However, it's not acceptable to walk down the street with a gun is it?

"Well, someone didnt just have an idea" I am going to breed a fighting machine today" did they? The dog was already alive and breathing so therefore they werent bread for fighting....just used for fighting...BIG difference"
Where does the name come from then?
Right let me tell you all something,
A good few years ago there was uproar about rottweilers as they are satans dog etc they were going round biting children what a load off old bollocks(how can you bred a dog for fighting it's impossible you can bred them so they certain characteristics and strong heads.
But at the end it is the owners responsiblity to make sure there dog has the right upbringing all dogs are pack animals and origanate from wild animals so if you encourage there natural insticts you are playing a dangorous game full stop.
They tried to ban rotty's also just a group off people going off on one like always just make sure you keep you pitty under control mybe think about showing how good he is by taking him to shows etc.

A gun would need 100% human intervention to kill someone.
A Pit-Bull can do it totally of its own accord.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selective_breeding
It is as open to abuse, thereby creating 'monsters' as it is to create proper breeds.
