Right we have been given a wee task to come up with 10 different theme nights or good ideas to put towards our management in our night club to make it busier on friday nights as they are quite poor at the minute with only around 500 or so in... anyway, has anyone got any ideas or suggestions that can help me?

Few im thinkin along the lines are, old skool dance nite, skool uniform night etc etc....

Any help appreciated.

Id dont matter HOW good/bad the club/music/drink itself is, blokes will go to a club if its full of fanny.

Certain things, esp a lot of gimmicky stuff or all you can drinks, will just get the place full of council estate pikeys and middle aged single mums, which will put the rest of the people off.

Im trying to search the internet to steal other clubs ideas but it isnt working too well lol... The club i work at ya see is a bit of a cheesey club it plays anything, just a party place...

IMO themes are bollocks, and only people that go for it n dress up n shit are the non-regular geeky people having a rare night out, or fat/ugly attention seeking birds.

If you can get the fanny in, the blokes will follow, job done.

As good as good music, cheap drink, cool lookin club, etc etc is, thats not the real reason straight men go clubbing...

What type of club is it?We are doing a ministry night at ours some big names comming in also were trying to get mtv in for a night were hoping nelly will be there and some american dj chriss somone meant to be big best bet is to find a good promoter and leave um to it lol

 

then when you've got the themes sorted, adds on local radio / pirates? etc

 

One idea which has already been mentioned is to hold an old skool night eg old skool garage, dance, drum n bass etc.

Battle of the DJ's night and the winner could maybe have a regular slot in your club

Once a week hold a buy one get one free night on selected drinks.

Free entry before 11 or somthing or maybe just for woman.

Once a month hold a proper night with good big Dj's

He wants to draw a crowd, fanny is the way, regardless of what event it is, club, show, anything.

"Some" people might go for other reasons, like prancing round like a prick, but people who think they CAN pull (which is going to be the majority) will go where the fanny is, to do so.

Obv the music etc etc is a bonus, but if you trying to make your place packed, go for the thing that gives the biggest draw (by miles) first.

Word soon gets round what clubs are full of birds, thats why people go there.
People whos never out wont know, but its not them you want to attract anyhow, its regulars up town, who are there every week, and they soon know.

Club went to last sunday was letting in not far off 5 girls to every bloke, and it made it fucking ace, and everyone who went will go back, and will tell all their mates, and so on and so forth, and it snowballs from there.

Some of the crappest clubs on paper (ignoring whos in there) are the best in reality, cause whos in there.

if a club has a decent policy where the ladies feel safe and know they can have a good time without pissed idiots starting trouble, they would be more inclined to go there.

they tell thier friends = more fanny, the more fanny there is, more men etc etc

That just attracts the fat old attention seeking biffers on hen nights, girls whos never been out before (and then next time wont wear any outfit anyhow as realise its gay), and geeky students tying to be "wacky"
Everytime ive ever been to any nightclub with a theme night on its about 1% of the people wearing anything.
Its not a way to attract regulars, apart from maybe stinky geeky students, and they aint got money anyhow.

But seriously, you should have just the right amount of security no matter what.

To stop it being full of pikey nobheads you dont increase security, that dont help, you just dont do wanky nights that attract that kind of pikey fuck, like cheap drink nights, etc.

And TBH, the pikey fucks go wherever they not barred from, so jus dont let em in, make sure the dress code aint too slack.

Nah seriously, I have never been to a foam party that isn't packed.

They always work.

About the only gimicky night that really does work against actuall competition from good clubs.

 

Footie club nights.

Every football team that comes in full kit gets 100 quid free drinking for the team (tokens or whatever)

Same for the girls - any girls teams arriving in their kit get free drinks all night.

Easy to get interest - just put posters up at the football ground/hockey ground or gym.

Packed to the rafters every week, not much trouble as it dont appeal to the alcopop kids, more the 20 plus age.

Certainly made Anthony his money hence him buying another 2 venues.

 

Ryan problem with the oydessy is the fights and the crowd in bambu tends to be 15-21 which means they may only have Ł30 to spend each weekend. I would probably suggest lowering the prices and doing special drinks promotions to boost sales. As its the beach club why not have a girls bikini night?

they do this in newmarket near where i live on a thurs we go every week cos it is packed out with fanny! Always full too, do it mate! they do quid a drink before 10 and cheaper entry b4 9.

Pimp's and ho's night here is always top notch. Nealy all extremely hot ladies mostly. Same with school uniform night. Probably helps that the club that hosts the nights is on the uni campus.

80's nights are always popular as well.

 

Ive done a few fancy dress but fanny does work also another idea pole dancers or stage dancers always attract people cage dancers if you get my drift.
Also a good looking club all clubs round my way have undergone huge refurbishment this is because they have to draw the people in.

 

Themed nights are good look also at the advertising a colourfull advert you have to look at what age range you are looking to go for the type off people etc mybe a cocktail night!!!!!.
People do like places where there isnt no hassle so a nice and polite but tight security team needs to be availbe(not always big motherfukkers as they sometimes seem to intimadanting).
Theres loads off stuff you can do make get a survey going see what drinks people like in your town what sort off music research and advertisment is the key.---------WET T SHIRT comp is always a hit also give aways best dressed girl and boy etc
