hi guy just bought a sweedish plenum for my ecos and just wonderd if you have to have it setn up after ifit it or will it be ok to fit a drive as im not taking the injectors or or anything???thanks all

 

I know you have to have the car re mapped for the extra air across the rev range, and to get the most out of it but not sure if it will damage the car if driven before hand though?

I would thnk it can become a bit lean, although you could probably get away with it I wouldn't risk. At least check wth wideband-lambda.

 

yes it the big turbo modal thing is iwas going to up the boost and put a differnt turbo on and injector so imay as well do all in one go ijust thought icould get away with it but if its going to run lean then i wont bother?

do you have to do the same even with the spacer??thanks all
