Default Rear Brake Flexis?

Where can I get hold of all 4 of the rear brake hoses as mine are in need of replacing?! Went to Ford today to order some only to be told that they haven't got any in stock and not only that, they don't make them any more

It's a shame that these are forbidden in Belgium.

I thought Norway shit on these things but not after hearing about this... We are allowed most stuff as long as we can supply German TUV approval papers or similar. Are you sure you cant do the same...?

I'm sure about that m8.
Braided hoses are forbidden.
Carbon front splitter is forbidden.
Drilled and grooved discs are forbidden even if we have TüV.

ETC...

How do you bypass the exhaust question m8. I've got hell of troubles with MOT over here because of my Mongoose.

Because a Mongoose doesn't have ANY approval papers.

So basically Samcos, alloy tanks, polybushes etc etc are not allowed purely because there are no approval papers...?

Exactly

It's a shame that the law is only published in Dutch and French otherwise you would be able to see if for yourself.

I was having a quick look again, and cant see why you cant get your MOT when you pass emissions and db tests. Thought these rules were the same in EU countries... Norway is not part of EU, but we still have "EU test" or MOT every other year. And as long as you pass emissions and db tests you can have any exhaust you want, dont even need a cat.
Obviously different countries read the rules differently, thats my guess...

Where do you have your MOT, at a private garage with license to do this?

Don't know whats worse
You dont even need roadworthy check here unless you are selling the car.
And they wonder why so many accidents happen.
There seems to be both extremes.

Doesn't apply to Belgium m8 as they are COCKS over here.
Government just doens't give a damn about EU laws and makes their own.
I've got an expert coming to look at my car and exhaust tomorrow and we are gonna try to take the Belgian government on.

Mot is performed by a company which has been approved by the Belgian government. So they have the sole right to do these checkup and that's against EU laws aswell.

Eventually, we will get there but WHEN is the big question.

@ozcos --> biggest problem is m8 that unroadworthy cars can sail through MOT like no tomorrow. Have seen many cars with faulty shocks and so that passed MOT with no trouble what so ever.

Hi RS Cosworth 300

I have all 4 rear braided brakehoses from Goodridge. They have covered about 100 km from new.

I don't need them now as I have completely rebuilt all brake lines inside the car with different connections to calipers.

Please let me know if you are interested.

these could be pretty cheap, probably £30 plus postage.

Kenny.
