Its time to sell my rsturbo and to buy an es cos hopefully. The car is a 1991 radiant red. The car has all original pannels and paint and is totally standard. Engine had never been chipped or messed around with which is why it runs smooth, turns over first time all the time even after months in the garage. Currently has exhaust and alloys but these will be taken off and the original exhaust and wheels will be put on. In 3 years of owning the car i have never had any problems and ive only done a few thousand miles. The current milege is 50 something. Car is original no restorations or anything because its too clean to touch. It has optional fuel computer as well as ford equalisers. Interior is mint no holes or rips. Engine bay is very clean. The car is services very regularly as my brother owns a garage. Car is parked in a heated garage and hasnt been out for ages which is why it is currently SORN'd. Car has more then a few months MOT, on the previous one it didnt fail on anything! What cossie you got your eyes on? I only miss mine sometimes, to be honest i miss my mk1 golf cab more! i was always a bit scared of using the RS.

 

most likely an escort cossie but i wouldnt mind a mint 3 door. Theirs no rush as ive just bought a 7 series and thats a fun drive for now

 

Have you drilled holes in the top of the dash?

Graham yes unfortunately their are holes where that alarm sensor has been fitted, you can really tel and im sure they can be filled.

 

bttt cant beleieve ive only had one genuine enquiry so far. Its hard enought to get a mint one well heres a 1991 with no welding anywhere and and original pannels plus all the extras

 

Are the Recaro badges missing in the front seats or am i just being blind?

I know you can buy them new from Auto Specialist

An update for you cam belt, valve stem oil seals, fuel filter, oil/filter, gaskets brand new genuine carello headlights just fitted
