Rubbish episode IMO

That Valetter, Must be so hard cleaning cars that are virtually showroom anyway. Give him a 20 year old ratty 911 and see him get it perfect. IMHO you'd need to be a mug to pay him anywhere near the several grand he charges!

And to be honest, anyone can buy Zymol and put it on the same and gt the same results.

To be fair the guy does the best job, he also repairs dents/scratches and is a complete perfectionist. Buying Zymol is the easy part, 5k and then there's the prep work

If I bought all the polish (not the expensive stuff) and microfibres and power tools he had. I reckon anybody (well maybe not you James ) in 2 days could have a car in as good a condition. In so much as both cars would look as good as they ever will. Theres no rocket science involved its still just prep, put it on right then polish it off.

Believe me, I would bet anything his cars are better than using 1500 then finishing polish and a buff with Halfords Zymol. However if you have untold wealth and 2 days to spare I bet you'd still use him

Was just reading his site http://www.miracledetail.co.uk.

And tbh he sounds like a Wanker

I won't take on staff like some of the larger detailing companies, because I haven't met anyone as passionate about detailing as me. Standards would slip. Every car I detail is an advertisement for my business;
I couldn't allow for a half decent job to be under my banner."
Interior Detail

All interior surfaces cleaned and prepared, including inner glass, roof lining and all vinyl/plastic surfaces. Carpets and upholstery cleaned using an extraction machine. Leather surfaces are carefully cleaned, prepared and fed using the finest leather products available.

Estimated time: 1-2 hours
Estimated cost: £75-£150

I wonder what an extraction maching looks like.

I wonder if its anything like a Vacuum cleaner He seems to like to baffle with bullshit. Which is probably the sort of thing his customers like.

His Gallery is full of virtually brand new cars that hes put several hours into. How dirty/wrecked can a brand new car actually be?

It almost certainly looks like a Vax or a George vaccum. Nothing special, but does the job

Im curious then as to what he can do that will improve 7 layers of water based paint and 3 of Lacqer.

Sure, sticking 5 layers of polish on top will help hide the imperfections. But short of a full respray theres not much you can do is there. If I understand he checks how thick the paint is then cuts off a layer (x microns thick) in the accepted sense.

Cars leave the factory with swirl marks, orange peel, imperfections, that includes Ferraris especially He takes them out, not just a quick buff as said, but proper measurement on laquer thickness/density. As said again he does repairs to it and I mean proper ones, not chipfix type

exactly, getting rid of swirl marks and orange peel isnt a 5 second job lol, is if you only hide them but not to get rid of them.
