Hi,

Blue smoke is coming out of the exhaust of my escos when the engine is at idle or at low revs and one time a bit of smoke came out of the passanger side(LHD) bonnet vent.I thought it should be the turbo so I removed the air filter to turbo pipe and checked for any play but there was none.I think that even without any play on the turbo it can be the oil seals am I right?
What do you guys think?
When I floor it or when travelling at stable speeds there is no smoke coming of the exhaust and neither from the vent it just when stoped or when in traffic and not always.It doesn't smoke when starting from cold either.


Any thoughts?

Hi mate you really need to be checking those oil seals in the tubby before anything else.
Im not to sure why there would be smoke coming through a vent if its the turbo thats gone, i think that could be a seperate issue as id suspect some kind of oil leak in the engine bay.
