Default Blufin Q

Hi Rob

Couple of quick questions if you get time as I will be wanting a Bluefin unit, when the car eventually arrives LOL

1. I will be considering buying an after market intercooler will this make any difference to the map on the bluefin ie will it work well together or need a different map to suit?

2. Do I physically need to have the car in my possesion before I purchase the unit?

Many thanks for your time and keep up the good work.

Regards

Mike....

Hi Rob

I’m looking to buy a bluefin this week but like mike above would like to know if I change the intercooler, filter and maybe exhaust at a later date, am I going to need a re-map to get the best results?

Also is the warranty only valid on a totally standard car??

GREAT PRICE THO!!!!!!

Performance fords car was running with a colins chip not a bluefin!

I'd like to know if this map was designed on a car without any mod's and then you could build up the spec as and when you had the money.

Max BHP on that car was 291 collins claim they can get 301 in their advert not sure if they do any other mods to get this tho.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your reply,
Ive not tested a car with and without an intercooler to be 100% sure but generally speaking it wont need a remap, but if we find that a diff map is required when fitting an intercooler i will update the units as required....

No you dont need to have the car in your possession to get a bluefin..... does help though

as above, ive not tested them with the other mods but dont normally have any problems,

Yes the warranty is only valid when the car is otherwise std.....

In a word..........YES

The car is alot nicer to drive now (Even the Missus said so and she knows nothing about the driving styles of cars) As you are not changeing gear as much, The improved Torque does the work. Which also gives you 2mpg more aswell

It is also ALOT faster and pulls SO hard now

Just shy of 200BHP and over 300ftlb torque says it all

Worth EVERY PENNY Simon [/b]
