I take it you wont have a small puller to hand ?

So the easiest way is to get your newspaper off the coffee table and shred it in to small pieces then soak it in a bowl of water then insert the wet paper in to the hole in the end of the crank shaft so its full then with a drift and hammer compress it whilst you keep adding more wet paper eventually this will push the bearing out ! .

Hope that does the job .

Regards Doug .

or use a very heavy grease, plasticine, or blu tak to stuff in the hole as doug describes. the best tool to use is then an old gearbox input shaft, as it fits the hole properly. alternatively, use a well fitting drift as doug says

Pop down to your nearest garage and borrow a blind bearing puller, how I did mine.

i used an old style clutch aligning tool with many different size metal ends, filled the bearing with grease and tapped the closest size clutch end into it, and it popped out.
