And flog the Fiat, spend about a grand on a nice Probe V6. Always liked them and I might not get another chance to own one, plus I'm worried about repaying a loan at the minute.

If I do choose to go this route, then it'll be back to Gran Turismo for my speed fix

Anything to look out for on Probes? From what I've seen, a grand should buy a minter!

 

i was running a v6 probe for a year and it was a superb car, didnt give any
problems at all and it was great to drive, great gearbox and handled well.

i sold it to rapid 1 off here for 800 sheets and he duly wrecked in it about
a month managed to make it about a foot shorter

find out how much it costs to do a cambelt with tensioners and rollers etc first!!you will have a heart attack!

Can't be more than the £500 it costs to do my present car. Can't afford that either

 

 

dont they have problems with the distributor/coil pack or something which is very expensive to put right-if you can get the parts???????

 

 

i know of a very good one for sale at the mo! been very well looked after by an enthusiast,fairly low mileage too!
