at Doug

Me personally, I think it looks ok

But looks far better on 3 door coupe style cars - like FTOs, 200SX, RX7s

I reckon you're toying with getting this done to your Escort, and are using this post to guage reaction before you do it! DO IT DO IT. You'll fit in really well with all the Weston chavs then...

Each to their own and all that, but I'd have spent the £1500 odd on more power!!!

That was pretty bad

And also whilst we're on the point, why in gods name does anyone need 18 gold alloys?

If you are (un) lucky enough to be around Bristol
you Might see the Evo 7 thats had

Massive chrome wheels and Green/gold Flip paint on it
Truely horrific.

Theyre not even gullwing doors like it states in the advert. Theyre Lambo style doors.

sbd16v I don't know about evo's but on most chavved up rides like saxos etc where lambo doors are fitted theres quite a bit of cutting/welding involved so I don't think you can just take them off if you dont like them as the hinges go well into the inner wings.

you can get kits that just bolt inside the front winges without any cutting there about 1500 a pair the cheaper ones need cutting but the better ones dont

That'll be why on a car I know one of the bolts sheared off and when he opens the door it just falls to the ground

I thought they all required cutting/welding. My mistake

They're still gay though

That evo is local to me,i'm not a huge fan but the first time i seen it i was thinking ok thats quite cool, then immediatly started thinking ok maybe not The lass who drives it may of been thinking its easier for her to get out of the car when parking badly at her local shopping centre.
Must admit she does drive it like your supposed to though

The wheels look ok I reckon, its just the doors that look gay, but like rob says though i thought that with these kits you can still open the doors normally as well as opening them up lambo style, so although bad its not the end of the world?

It just goes to show that money doesnt buy taste and proves:

YOU CAN TAKE THE BOY OUT OF THE SAXO, BUT YOU CANT TAKE THE SAXO OUT OF THE BOY

That's shocking

I would have used a piano hinge instead of those two undersized 75mm hinges..........but then I'm a perfectionist
