Ive been in my parents house for a few hours today, and ive had 4 call centres, all ringing up about different things...mobile phones,house insurance blah blah...doing my absolute head in!

 

Feckin annoying aint it. One thing dial-up used to be good for!

There's a site you can register your number, you are then put on a list and they should'nt call you, not sure how effective it is tho. Someone put a link on here a while ago.

 

Do a search for TPS.

Calls will stop then

Yeah that is the telephone preference scheme

It does work but can take quite a few months to take effect totally.
