Is this a good price?

Not second hand and definetly a heated screen.

Check with your insurance company about windscreen cover, Greenlight will charge you £60 all up to have the windscreen replaced through an authourised dealer if you have fully comp cover

Jon if its for an escort, the Htd front screen COST price is £92.32

So if your gettin it fitted for £125 it is a very good price (saying that there only a rubber job, so no expense in glue/materials etc...)

Retail they go for £256, major insurance compaines get them for £189

Only thing thats worth checking, is that the non o.e glass silver element strips get covered by the rubber, they may stand there and say "oh, you cant cover them up completely" but you can with a bit of time and patience fitting

That's good Jon. I paid £148 fitted including VAT for mine, it's a Pilkington which apparently is a good make.

What you doing with your car now dude?

getting a few bits done and advertising it properly. Haven't done anything with it really because I'd agreed a sale but I've been let down with the sale. Everything agreed but guy got turned down for a loan.

This is the small ford center that are doing it.

I would do it through insurance but mine has run out and I hope to only insure it for a month or two and get a refund. If I claim on a windscreen I won't get a refund.

Good point about the elements. I noticed mine has shows now and has done for a while.

Noone owns "SMART REPAIR" as a brand, AFAIK

We used to have a registered trademark on S.M.A.R.T .... not really enforced too much now, SMART repairers have become to common to be chasing everyone whos used it.......

There are shed loads of companies who do smart repairs now who use that term in thier name

Had windscreen fitted - Pilkington glass unfortunately can see the heated element strip on each side

Spent a little while on it, I'm happy

Tillio, it won't leak

Fletch

You would be probably only be able to get trade accounts with;

LADDAWS
or
MASTER AUTOGLASS

Tried getting trade accoutns before with main manufacturers
