Default FAO anyone that has polished there own wheels.

What did people use to polish wheels? I'm thinking about doing my wheels but don't know what will be best for the job. Only wanting to do the face of the spoke so I don't need anything to get into tight corners.

Thanks
Dave

Do as much of it as you can with a block and wet and dry...the smoother you can get it that way, the easier it will be when you come to use the mops and it'll look less rippled as well. Just get a basic 3 peice polishing mop set, theyre around Ł20, try ebay, I got mine from an M&P motorcycle parts catalogue...but plenty other people do the same kits.

Think I will end up doing them by hand. Would have been fine doing my own by hand but now got to do another set for someone and still need to finish off my charge carrier from top of my engine. I'll end up with one arm bigger than the other.
