Concentrating on the interior bit, and have sorted what guages to get, but what i am curious is switches i always see lots of switches in cars but what are they for? in my cossie i only had 1 for my fans, and so deffo one for my fans in the RST, but what else?

 

I've got 3 switches

1 = Launch control
2 = Anti Lag
3 = Flamer !

would get rid of the flamer but don't wont to be left with a hole in my tailpipe.

 

ACT switch (twin temps)
Flamer kit switch
Heated rear screen
Fog lights
Heated front screen

 

Fuel Pump, ABS, ignition, fans, boost control, fire extinguisher are common ones to have.

Too many

2 for Main master electrics, ignition, starter, top spots. bottom fogs, lamp pod, fan overide, interior light, intercom. reversing lights, fog lights, dip beam overide (see below), fuel pump, nav map light, brake lights, fire extinguisher etc etc...

Car is wired so that when main high beam is on - it also keeps the dipped beam on to give fill in close to the front of the car at night. This is actually illegal on the open road and won't pass an MOT like it - so I have an overide to turn it off

Only non-standard switchgear I have on display is a Pectel knob & peak recall switch, but doubt they'll be much use to you

 

fuck me rus, you sure you couldnt fit a few more on there i'd end up turning on the revesre lights when i meant to turn the fans and etc
