Default Put a deposit donw on the new car

A white, MK4 escort XR3i (mfi). Full RS body kit and wheels, lowered, smoked back lights, full black leather (BMW) trim, 74k, dry stored for 2 years etc etc, pics to come. Its quite nippy to be fair, has a panel filter, cam and full stainless.

It needs a few little touches like the shit system pulling out and when the brake pedal is pressed, the sidelights come on at the front. Chappie says this is just due to a wrong bulb in the tail light, is this right or is there sommat else wrong there???

Oh, and where can I get some heatwrap for an exhaust manifold??

Cant wait to go pick it up

Might well be mate, worth knocking some money off for it though

My mates just got some wrap from Proven Products, 50m for about Ł30!!

Did his whole exhuast, starter and the loom near the downpipe and still had just under half left!!

I'll try and find a link for you

From Bomber on XRtwo.com:

Proven Products: CoolTek Exhaust Wrap

I ordered some of this stuff last week from http://www.proven-products.co.uk - and it is amazingly good value! 30metres (by 50mm wide) was Ł39.99 plus 6 quid postage! I managed to do:

Wiring loom that runs the whole length of my front crossmember, Turbo downpipe, top rad to thermostat housing hose, bottom rad to water pump hose, chargecooler hoses, charge carrier pipe (part that is directly over turbo), heater matrix to thermostat hose and my exhaust! I also still have 10metres of the stuff left!

Go get some it is awesome quality and price!

------------------------------------------------------

Guess what I'm getting next...

i bought a proper piece of shit d reg turbo about 4 years ago and that did the same sort of light thing.when i braked the head lights came on which is shit cause everyone thought i was flashing them out the way. it was the light trays in the boot had corroded so a bit of wire brushing later and everything was good again!!!
