Default Bloody insurance!

Anyone know of any insurance companies which will insure a 21 year old and the cover includes being able to drive any other car with the owners permission?

Norwich Union want me to pay £1100 next year for a 21 year old with 2 years no claims, on a Laguna dti! Third party only!!!

Most other insurance companies won't let me drive any other car on the policy, and I feel this will be needed for the mk1! (Wouldn't like to quote that in my name!)

Phil, someone will have to be insured on the mk.1 also, and in their name.

Was doing that years ago.

Have you tried getting a traders policy,part-time buying and sellling from home etc...

O.K for just third party etc...

in the autotrader there are adverts there, might have to be 25 on some but not sure.

Dave.

Sorted it now, got Nowich Union down to £990 Fully comp (did an online quote as a new customer and this is what it was, bloody cheek after i've been with them for 3 years and my renewal is mroe than a new customer!) Still a rip off but they are the only ones I don't have to be 25 for!

I know about the mk1 side of things Dave, did it with my saph cos for 2 years!

Don't have time time for the part time trader thing at the moment

Remember that the cover while driving other cars is Road Traffic Act (Third Parties) only.
