Default S2 ERST sideskirt strip runners - alligment? - update (PICS)

Is there an easy way to position the black strips along the sill so that you know they're in the right place????

All I can think of it getting some masking tape and copying the layout from another car

id like to help mate, but i dont think i have any pics different to what you have seen already. cant you put the black strips on the skitrs, offer the skirts up to the car,and try to see where the black strip end and top edge comes to,hold it there, remove skirt and hey presto, then put tape there, use that as a guide, i know what im on about, but i dont think ive explained it enough, sorry mate,
good luck,

thats how i drilled some of my holes after i had the plates welded .

I'm a perfectionist, but don't think this is gonna work

Blastered studs for exhaust
Fooked one of em putting it in, also snapped a bolt that holds manifold on too when tightening them up

Well gotta say they look like they were fitted in the factory...

look better than they did at Trax anyways, I could have stayed there all day watching you try to stick them on PMSL

Just in case people are wondering, the actual sideskirts were hanging on by one screw and one rivet on the passenger side, the driver side only had bottom rivets in PMSL

Soooooo, looked very droopy and shat to be perfectly honest LOL

Looks loads better Well done

Thats a common problem when people fit an RST kit to a non RS car without the proper plate behind to hold them up.

As you know Tony, had these runners for well over a year, even had them whilst I was stilled banned from driving LOL

Got so fed up with it, I'm pleased now, driver side sill is a right mess behind there, so many fooking holes where someone has tried to bodge it in the past BUT passenger sill is MINT!!

Ah well, all get sorted eventually, but thanks for the reply, you knew how bad it looked before, most people don't
