Alex got his cabrio back on the road yesterday ready for the thrash at york this weekend,

It was its first time back on the road after 1 1/2 months so thought we better give it a test run check all was ok!
Well as he gave it some the bottom boost hose blew off! But as it did the car stalled Which it shouldn't have because its efi ? So we was stranded tried loads of stuff with no joy in the end got it towed home and we still can't get it started

Alex thinks it may be the crank position sensor so is off down fords now! So all being well and if it is we will still make it. If not its scratch our heads time again and we may or may not depending on if its fixed in time

Any ideas from you lot ?

lol It was only back on the road a few hours

Jano what you want to no? Car came on boost big hiss the noise of boost hose coming off and then it just died. Car just turns over and over but won't start Fuel pump is priming up but its like no fuel is being sent! And there is no spark
We thought we had run out at first but lucky there was a garage 50 metres away so he pushed me there

 

check the pink relay in the fuse box???


power ecu off then back on again!!

 

sounds like it could be a cps!

 

There isn't no pink relay its efi.

Just put a new crank position sensor in and still no spark

 

Any more ideas? supoposed to be leaving in a hour

 

just found out the cps wire had all melted so should be all sorted

yep all good dave but r tans have all but gone now from a two weeks away in turkey need to go again. how is u boyo i heard u was kicking ass up the mile vs the bikes
