This heavily modified Pontiac is used during the shoot of season 2.
Knight Industries Two Thousand (K.I.T.T.) was used after this season for carshows and demonstrations.
2001 was the year it got fully rebuild.
The auction starts on 30 juli

Mint A-team van rep was up for sale on there recently.

The KITT cars from the show are supposed to be pretty rough.

 

I reckon the one on e-bay will be a better example if it was re-built in 2001

 

Mind you the 'Back To The Future' Delorion cars are in awful condition, sat at Universal Studios are 2 of them, one of which is on show, falling apart and the Studio say it isn't worth spending money on them to restore - pathetic

Bloody great trilogy and won't even have them in good nick for people to see

Same as the Black car and White Jetta from 'The Fast and The Furious' horrible looking things and full of rust and paint flaking

 

I feel a PassionFord trip to the Cars Of The Stars museum comming on.

 

It's a cool car, for back in the 80's though. Was a nice series. But for 40 K I'll just buy a 500+ bhp Supra

 

For 40k you could get 3 or maybe even 4 500bhp Supras!
