hey i tried taking of the manifold but couldnt get it off! lol i separated it from the downpipe and from the block but there is a frame in the way that holds the alternator and fan belt in place, it stops the manifold getting past and off the block. how do you move this frame its to the left of the engine block. any help would be great!

get a hacksaw blade out and cut the end of the stud off (just before the threaded part), then get a metal bar (socket extension for example) and a mallet and break off a bit of the bracket where the manifold would hit

job done
